About Dana

The Reverend Dana Allen Walsh is a pastor, teacher, leadership coach, podcaster, and writer dedicated to helping individuals and communities discover pathways to transformation and flourishing.

As the 18th Senior Pastor and first female Head of Staff in South Church Andover's 300-year history, Dana brings over two decades of experience in spiritual guidance and organizational leadership. Beyond the pulpit, Dana serves as co-host of the "A Life Worth Working" podcast, exploring the intersection of purpose, vocation, and meaning. She is also a leadership coach with Brook & Branch, where she combines her pastoral wisdom with professional coaching expertise as an ICF Coach-in-Training. Through her "Art of Flourishing" Substack, Dana shares reflections on finding the sacred in everyday life.

Dana's approach to ministry and coaching emerges from a deep commitment to creating spaces where people feel truly seen and heard. She believes that within each person lies the wisdom and creativity needed for meaningful change – sometimes we just need a partner to help us access it.

With a Master of Divinity and Executive Leadership Certificate from Princeton Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the University of Mary Washington, Dana brings both theological depth and practical leadership experience to her work.

A seeker of the sacred in the ordinary, Dana finds traces of the divine in deep conversations, the chaos of parenthood, and the intergenerational joy of church.

Dana resides in Andover, MA with her husband, Sean, and their two children, Leighton and Emerson. And sweet old dog, Bono.
